Fisher-Price Shake 'n Go! Disney/Pixar Cars 2 - Mater

Doesn't work on the World Grand Prix track
I purchased this specifically to use on the Shake 's Go World Grand Prix track and was very disappointed to find that it doesn't work at all. Mater is too top heavy to make it up the small hill and then goes up on just his back wheels and tips over. At first I thought I simply misunderstood and he wasn't supposed to be compatible with the track, but then I looked at the back of the track's box and there is a picture of all the other Shake 'n Go cars with a caption saying to shake them and race them.

If you're not interested in using this with the Grand Prix track, I don't think you'll have any problems at all. It is a sturdy toy that runs well.
Mater shake n go
My grandkids really enjoy this car. It is very durable and the sound of Mater's voice is good also.
A Winner!
A hit at Christmas! My 2 year old grandson played with this and the Lightning McQueen Shake 'n Go car all day. Despite being dropped and banged on the floor, it held up and seems to be very durable. He loved it!

Thomas Wooden Railway - Cranky The Crane

Cranky is Crankeriffic!
My 2 year old son loves his new Cranky! He loves to load and unload freight off of all of his Thomas train cars. The crank is still a little difficult for him to turn, but he maneuvers it mostly by hand. It is sturdy and lightweight so that he can do so. He enjoys moving the freight up and down. The magnet is strong enough to grab hold of most magnetic items easily.
Just want I expected
As our experience with the other Thomas the Train stuff, Cranky is well made, durable and fun. My 2-year-old loves him. Just what I was expecting from this product.
Anything "Thomas" is a 5 star!!
We love all the "Thomas The Train" pieces. Very durable and colorful and easy for the kids to play with.

Fisher-Price Little People Wheelies Zig The Big Rig

Zig
This toy is definitely fun and cute. My little three year played with it for hours the first day it arrived, and he loved the side door that opens. He loves the voice and the things the truck says. His only complaint is that the doors do not open for the cab of the truck, but other than that he loved it. He dropped it several times on the floor from the table and it did not break and it is large and rills well. The little car rolls out of the bed when the door opens, as well as other toy trucks he has, of which he absolutely loves and laughs at. overall this is a cute and durable toys, with great sayings and a moving face. I would not rate it high for educational, but it does well for eye hand coordination.
fisher price big rig
recieved today 22 sept. the youngest grandson at 13 months old was here. i broke it out and his eyes lit up. he went over to it and started playing with it. boys love big toys. i was going to keep it here at the house but he played all day with it and when it was time to go----well he didn't want to give it up. so g-pa let him take it home.. remember this boy is 13 months old and at this age they have a attention span of a nat. he played over 6 hrs straight no nap and had to put the truck on the table with him during supper) with this toy. he was playing big truck driver just like his g-pa.
FP Talking Truck Fun
Toy arrived well packaged--no plastic used to encase truck, yet there was enough tape and tough cords holding the wheels of The Big Rig that it takes some effort (and a knife) to free the truck from the box. Truck doesn't seem to mind, it's full of "happy sayings" recorded in a little boy voice. Push the blue button on top of the truck to activate sounds and movement of features. When you do this, the headlights light up, the side mirrors move (like waggling ears), the eyes move around and other sounds play. Sometimes the big side door drops down to the floor releasing the little "wheelie" vehicles. The child can re-load up to six vehicles (only one comes with The Big Rig)and push the door back up. This activates a switch that causes it to talk and move again. You can also activate The Big Rig by pressing the blue front bumper of the truck. The truck rolls easily on it's six wheels. I wish the front wheels would swivel as you turn the vehicle. Also, I wonder if it will frustrate a...

Thomas Wooden Railway - Battery-Operated Hiro

Be Aware of the difference between Fisher Price and Learning Curve Battery Operated Trains
I have a 2 year old who loves trains. He's obsessed with them (as is dad) - I have spent a small fortune on a variety of trains, track, and accessories from multiple mfg's. One thing I have discovered by purchasing both Learning Curve and Fisher Price trains is there are distinct differences. First and most obvious, the LC trains have a very noisy motor – really nerve racking, especially if it falls off the track and becomes unattended. Compare the FP motor, and it's almost silent. I have found mfg's trains to be fairly strong, they do a good job hauling a heavy load via the magnets. My son has successfully pulled 10 + cars of various sizes behind each brand. I bought Hiro (FP) before discovering the difference of each mfg's quality control and different internal components. This Hiro train is hands down the strongest (and he runs very quiet because he's manufactured by Fisher Price) - so if you like the fun, and want to enjoy a little less noise in your house, do...
This toy shows a great deal of class
HIRO, which is part of the THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE collection of engines, train cars, tracks, and buildings, show a great deal of class. First of all, the engine is made of metal. It is not plastic. As with the other engines and train cars, HIRO's face is made of plastic. The metal is painted black, with gold-painted detail work. The roof of the engine's cab has a rectangular portion, which is actually a button. When you push the button, the engine moves at a constant speed. The speed is about one meter per ten seconds. HIRO has six plastic wheels, and four of these are unusual, in that they have rubber rims. Truly, the HIRO product is a "class act." To use a phrase that is sometimes used in another context, "Hiro has a classy chassis!" (Please note that "chassis" rhymes with "classy." Don't blame me. I did not invent the English language.)

COAL CAR. The HIRO product comes with a coal car. The coal car is made of wood, not plastic. HIRO pulls the coal car by way of magnetic...
Experience the fun of a motorized engine
This is the first motorized Thomas & Friends engine that I've seen, and I really like it. With all-metal construction, it's heavier (7 ounces with the AA battery) than the non-motorized engines, but it needs the extra weight to have enough traction to pull itself and a few cars up the grades of bridge approaches. I tried the Hiro engine pulling two cars around the figure 8 layout of the Tidmouth Timber Company set, and it had no problem with going up and down the steep bridge approaches. The weight of the engine and the rubber rims of the four driving wheels gave it plenty of traction.

Note that the pictures of the Hiro engine in the Amazon product description page aren't all the same. The middle picture, showing an engine with six wheels, is the correct one. The #51 coal tender is as shown in all the pictures.

It's a different experience watching the Hiro engine chugging around the track under its own power. It took me back to my Lionel electric train days as a...

Thomas & Friends All Around Sodor

Fascinating Thomas
While setting it up, I just went by colours and at one point I couldnt get the tracks to fit and then I realised that I interchanged the position of green tracks. After that the setup was easy. Thomas is a powerful engine. He doesnt even need tracks, he will jut wheel off even on the carpet. The cargo falls off sometimes while going downslope after crossing the bridge. Thomas asks once in a while where would we like him to go. The volume should have been tunable.
This toy will charm kids for some years. My toddler likes seeing Thomas go on track but I have seen the pride of a 4 year old when his father asked him to setup the whole system. Till your kids get onto a real train and beyond, Thomas will fascinate them with his googly eyes.
How cute!
My grandson is all about trains, so he loves Thomas. He loved this Thomas play set. The eyes and mouth move, and it has buttons that control where Thomas should stop and go. It was simple enough for him to operate, but he did need some help setting it all up. He is 2 1/2. It is quality made and does not feel flimsy. I think it is a great gift for the 2 1/2 and up ages.
Grandchild's favorite toy!
I'm so pleased with this train set that I bought for my grandson. It is more reasonably priced than other Thomas the Tank Engine toys. The quality is good and durable. The battery seems to last forever. But the very best thing about this toy is how much my grandson loves it.
My grandson is almost two and this train set is easy for him to manipulate and operate. Thomas says many things and giggles a lot in a very silly manner which pleases my grandson to no end. It can be pushed around off the tracks And will also motor along on a Tile or linoleum floor.
I'm so happy to have found something that he plays with every day. Mom and dad even texted me a picture of my grandson lying on his belly and watching Thomas chug along. It's the best toy I've purchased for him yet and believe me, I've purchased a lot as he's our one and only grand baby.
