Fun, durable RC for kids
I gave this to my son on his birthday a few weeks ago and he likes it a lot.
I like the fact that it is made of rubber material which makes it very durable. My son dropped, stepped-on and rode on this RC but it is still working fine.
For $20, this is really worth it.
cute
My husband picked this out for our son's 2nd birthday. I should have bought 2 since they both want to play with it. Luckly my son usually gets first choice and get to play.
Cute but disappointing
This was on our son's Christmas wish list, and his grandparents got it for him (because grandpa actually has a red Mustang). It is cute, and I like that the car is kind of "squishy" instead of hard plastic. I don't know whether it's the car or the remote, but after a few hours of sporadic (not constant) play it barely worked at all--NOT batteries but mechanical problem. It doesn't make turns well anymore. It is so frustrating to tell your 4 year old that his brand new Christmas gift does not work. It's just sitting around collecting dust at this point. It is not worth the money or my frustration and my child's disappointment. It was a good gift idea in theory: decent price, seemed durable, and a nice introduction to the world of RC cars, but it simply is not a high quality toy afterall.
