Cool Vehicle That's Identical To the Real Thing

Should have been made of metal.
Front loader broke off after 2 weeks. It seems bruder toys are very detailed but can't stand up to real world play.
a bit disappointed
I bought this for my 3 year old son for Christmas. I read previous reviews from other parents. What a disappointment...the truck is not sturdy at all and is not even made of what I would consider "durable" plastic. I know that with minimum play, this truck will be banished to the island of the misfit toys. Save your money.

Great truck, and very durable!
Our son has loved this truck. He uses small Lego bricks as garbage, and they pass through the auger into the truck's box with no problem. The arm extends from the truck's side and grabs the garbage can. The can is dragged over to the very side of the truck, then lifted and tilted over the opening. The lifting mechanism is very cleverly designed so that no 'garbage' will fall from the can until the lifting knob is slightly over-rotated, thereby opening the garbage can lid. Sounds complex, but it is well built, and has lasted us a year so far. The Bruder line is very tough, and the plastic is almost indestructible.

My two year old grandson's favorite days are Tues and Friday when the garbage truck comes by. The garbage man stops and talks to him. I (grandma) bought the side loader to match the "real one". The two year old figured out how the can attached, I couldn't!!
It was expensive so I shared the cost with my son. My grandson already has the Brueder dump truck and it is played with daily so I knew even though it was expensive, it was durable and good value.
It was deliver promptly in a HUGE box carefully padded.
Fantastic - sturdy
My son usually destroys toys in seconds. But the Bruder Garbage Truck is so sturdy/solid that after my sons first tantrum of the day, where he through the truck against the wall...it survived!!! I am so happy with a toy that is made to last. No cheap plastic parts, real tyres. Excellent product.

THE RIGHT TOY FOR THE RIGHT CHILD
This is a massive plastic toy truck that is amazingly well detailed. If your child is going to smash it into a brick wall or throw it down a flight of stairs then you better pass up on it as it will never stand up to that kind of abuse. If you have a child that loves any kind of construction equipment and has some respect for their toys your money will be well spent on this item. I think the age group Bruder recommends for these "Pro Series" is a little young for this line of vehicles. You should start them out with the less expensive "RoadMax" line of toy trucks as they have less detailed items to break off and see how they do. If your child still shows interest as they grow then upgrade to the higher end 'Pro Series" models. This particular truck is so nice that we decided it was going to be an inside play toy only even though Bruder says it's safe for outside also. Great toy for boys who love trucks!
I purchased this toy from Amazon after my son saw it in a catalog of an expensive toy store. He continuously asked for it and I found it on Amazon at a cost significantly less than the toy store catalog. It arrived quickly and perfectly - no damage whatsoever, especially given the size of this truck! (This is a large truck about 3 feet long and includes a backhoe.) My son adores this toy and plays with it daily. It is made well - I have had very good experiences with the "Bruder" line of toys - made well, durable, and very realistic.

If you have a child who really likes truck, you simply can't go wrong with this truck (or any other trucks in the Bruder line). I've found that Bruder trucks are more realistic looking, which is key for my 3 year old.

Overall, I would highly recommend this truck.
the best truck ever
I bought this truck for my 3 1/2 year old. He is crazy about Bruder trucks. It has put up with alot of abuse. I highly recommend Bruder toys to anyone, who's child loves trucks, farming or construction equipment. These toys are wonderfully crafted and loaded with detail. I am sure that my son will enjoy this truck for a couple more years.

Nice Truck, Hoped for More of a Wow! Factor
I had a really difficult time deciding which garbage truck to buy: Bruder or Playmobil? I went back and forth, watched YouTube video reviews, and when the Bruder - which I really liked the appearance of - went on sale, I snapped it up. You can, for the record, get this at about 30% off from time to time, and I beleive it's worth the wait.

This was a gift for my two-year old daughter. Both my two and four year old are mesmerized by the weekly garbage collection on our street. Lots of running to the windows, faces pressed against the glass and so on. So I knew this would be a big hit, and it was. I don't know which of my girls likes it better, and it was a struggle tearing my four year old away from it at naptime (the two year old took it with her and is happily singing and shuttling garbage to the main compartment as I type).

The first thing that really struck me about this truck is just how incredibly large it is. There is a sticker on the top discouraging...
Great Bruder Garbage Truck
My grandson just loved playing with garbage trucks since he was about 2 years old. Just the noise of the garbage truck going by would wake him up. He has quite a few of them - several back and side loading types and Bruder seems to be the best made.
This Truck is AWESOME!!
I purchased this truck for my son's 5th birthday. He is an absolute garbage truck fanatic!!! He loves all the Bruder trucks that he already has because they have working parts and it makes for realistic play. This garbage/recycling truck is no exception! The crank on the side pushes the contents to the inside of the truck and the garbage cans can be dumped by lifting the attachment they hook to. He has really enjoyed playing with this truck and like all his Bruder trucks they are durable and well made! I highly recommend this truck and all the other Bruder toys. A+ toys!!!!

Bruder Mack Granite Dump Truck

Handsome but not hardy
Shiny & very handsome; what I always wanted as a kid but never got. However, swiveling doors & mirrors are very flimsy plastic, had to be reworked to open easily & are too delicate for 4 or 5 yr. old. Must yank on truck bed to open. Tires & body sturdy but more suitable for indoor play. Front wheels do not turn so truck has to be skidded around curves. Definitely not for child who likes to ride on or crash his trucks. A bit smaller than advertised: 20" L, 6.75" W, 9" Ht. Too bad it isn't made out of metal.Overall more luxurious than practical.
Great Truck Very detailed and durable.
Got this for my 4 1/2 yr old and he loves it. Fanastic detail, just like the real thing. Doors open, hood opens and of course it dumps. I was impressed when my son and his 6yr old cousin, ( who breaks everything he touches) started pushing it around the backyard at max speed and it stood the test but when I accidentally dropped a 5 foot 2x4 on it and there wasn't so much as a scratch I was really suprised. We've had it about 4 months and it's been in the sandbox, the dirt pile and up and the driveway a hundred times and still looks and plays great. Bruder makes great toys. Highly recomended
not a rough boy toy
Bought two for Christmas. Boys are 6 and 4. They love the trucks!! But I DONT!!!! I know that by the end of January something on the truck will be broken. Everthing is plastic and fragile. My boys want to push the trucks all over the place and they can't because the truck wiggles underneath them. So they sit and play with them instead of being active and then they get bored after about 10mins. They will not get the oppurtunity to haul rocks and dirt because it is not sturdy enough for that. A dump truck that can't haul that's handy. What happen to toys made to be played with. Not really worth the money. I should have sent them back and went to Walmart and bought Tonka!!!!

Bruder MAN Crane Truck

Mobile crane
I purchased this crane for our grandsons to play with at our home during their visits. It was so popular that my wife gave it to them to take home. She didn't want to hear them fighting over it at our home. She thought it better for their parents to deal with it than us. The toy is almost 2 months old and understand that they are still arguing about who plays with it. There is something magical about this toy that little boys love.
Worth every penny!
We gave this truck to our grandson for Christmas and he has not stopped playing with it. He even brings it over to our house when we baby-sit for him. It is very well made and is very sturdy and easy to maneuver. We also do not need to worry about any lead in the product. We are planning to buy other toys made by this company in the future.
Non stop play
My 5 year old son LOVES this crane. He has added more string to lower and lift toys from our second story balcony. He has had it since Feb. and still plays with it almost every day.
